Product Engineer, Backend (Logistics) - Mercari

業務内容

• Design and develop backend solutions for internal users and external partners within Mercari's Logistics platform.
• Collaborate with product managers and business development to plan and execute the product roadmap; translate business problems into scalable technical designs.
• Analyze partner systems and constraints; architect integrations that serve both Mercari and partner ecosystems, supporting migrations and feature expansions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance existing features and ensure reliable shipping services, designing for high load and global expansion.

必須スキル

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience on large-scale systems
• Backend design, development, and operations with performance and scalability focus
• Data modeling and efficient querying for RDBMS/NoSQL
• Cloud development experience (GCP or AWS)
• Testing expertise: unit/functional/end-to-end
• Git/GitHub and version control proficiency
• Debugging legacy systems and large-scale migrations
• Strong communication and cross-stakeholder collaboration
• Japanese proficiency (CEFR C1); English independent (CEFR B2) preferred
